We began as part of Catholic mission territory, with an itinerant priest visiting the area regularly. The parish was formally established in 1924 with a small church and pastor’s quarters. A larger brick church was finished in 1939; that building was damaged by an earthquake in 1967. This led to a new location and church, which was recently renovated.
We are in the heart of the Mississippi Delta region and have about 300 households. Together we seek to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ by encountering Him in Word and Sacrament and serving Him in others. We welcome and invite all to join us.
